OK. I got some 2' X 4' pegboard, plywood, and more time than money. (else I would've bought Delta's nifty one, but a little pricey) Box construction is straightforward. Anyone got any ideas to soften the top? (router pad?) How bout baffling? TIA |

Rockler has this great anti-slip coating product made for just this application. |

i just use the rubber knobby drawer liners, which also work well as router pads and are much cheaper, on mine. as to baffling, mine has none though i have given consideration to it. since it works quite well without it though i have never felt it worthwhile to expend the time not materials to put baffles in. |

sorry larry, i haven't the technology. but just imagine a rectangular box, mine is about 26" x 24" x 6" , with a pegboard top suitably supported internally, and with a 4" dust port at one end. certainly not high tech. i also have a handle on it just to make pulling it out from under a bench easier. the rubber drawer liners came from home depot as i recall, but are available at walmart etc. also. |
